EC1500 is a white polyethylene based masterbatch consisting of 60% good quality rutile titanium dioxide pigment without any fillers for high temperature extrusion processes. This grade is designed mainly for thin gauge cast film applications; offering well balance between dispersion and thermal stability for high gloss and good quality printing applications.

EC1500 is complied with European Union [Resolution AP (89) 1] and FDA [Title 21: 177.1520] directive for indirect food contact applications.

Method of Addition

EC1500 is designed for ease of handling; allowing fast incorporation into customer let down polyethylene resin. Therefore it is suitable for direct masterbatch addition using automatic dosing equipment or by pre-blending method.

The dosage of EC1500 depends solely on the customer performance requirements of the final end-user applications. A typical addition rate; given below as guidance only for reference:
