EC1600 is a white polyethylene based masterbatch consisting of 70% high loading and good quality rutile titanium dioxide pigment without any fillers for excellent product performance. This grade is designed mainly for thin gauge blown film applications; offering well balance between colour and dispersion for high gloss; whiteness & good quality printing application.

EC1600 is complied with European Union [Resolution AP (89) 1] and FDA [Title 21: 177.1520] directive for indirect food contact applications.

Method of Addition

EC1600 is designed for ease of handling; allowing fast incorporation into customer let down polyethylene resin. Therefore it is suitable for direct masterbatch addition using automatic dosing equipment or by pre-blending method.

The dosage of EC1600 depends solely on the customer performance requirements of the final end-user applications. A typical addition rate; given below as guidance only for reference:

For film applications → 2% - 6%
